This role is vital to the day to day production of The D.U.C.K Group film, television & event projects.
The Lead Production Assistant will work directly with the Production Manager to coordinate all aspects of the following areas:
RESEARCH:
Locating Upcoming Key Events, Film Festivals, Prospective Clients & Conferences, Location Scouting, Joint Ventures with other media and/or production companies.
CORRESPONDENCE:
Responding to client or vendor inquiries via Phone or Email, Film Festival Submission process, General Mailings & Brand Packaging
ADMINISTRATIVE:
Pre-Production for new film/show ideas, General office functions, Inter-departmental communications
Overall, this candidate should be passionate and open to learning. Should have a desire to pursue a career in film, events or entrepreneurship. Candidate must be well rounded with the ability to adjust quickly to changing environments, communicate effectively with multiple personality types and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Candidate should be self motivated and able to work great in a team or individual setting. Should have excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to draft emails and letters clearly and concisely. Candidate should be available to travel locally and regionally when necessary for events and/or film shoots.
Experience in the Film/Event Production Area is a plus but not necessary.
The Lead Production Assistant will work in tandem with the Sr. Events Coordinator to maintain the corporate calendar and streamline all production processes.
